Where has time went? It’s amazing how the Lord works things out. Starting at the beginning of the year, another class was added to our ministry. Bro. Jeff now goes to the jail every other week on Monday night. He has been doing this by himself since the beginning.
About two months ago, the Chaplain asked us if we were able to take on more openings. We agreed. I now go every Saturday morning and every Sunday Evening.
The Saturday morning class is only around 5 or 6 people each time. The Sunday class is filled with between 15-20 each class of which there are two.
Today I was able to speak to over 30 inmates about the wonderful gift of Baptism in Jesus Name.
Please continue to pray for this ministry as we endeavor to spread the Gospel.

Today Renee and Yvonne visited the jail and ministered to the ladies.
Sis. Yvonne shared her testimony and the beautiful way that God has brought her out of a world of sin. The power of God was felt in the room and there were many tears. Sis. Yvonne shared Psalms 107 and how this scripture had ministered to her spirit.
In both classes, there were about sixteen ladies that were eager to hear the word. The message today was sparked by a question from one of the ladies in the last session. She wanted to know how to let her faith work in her situation. The bible gives us many examples of faith in action. In Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” Also, James 2:17 “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” Renee encouraged the women to start sowing good seed in their attitude and actions, so they might start reaping the blessings of God.
Today is also fifth Sunday, which means that there is an additional evening service in which Sis. Yvonne will be ministering to the ladies.
Please continue to remember this ministry in your prayers as we are very restricted in how much doctrine we are able to share. Many of these women need your prayer as they are struggling with addition.

Praise the Lord, God’s doing a great work in the Macomb County Jail.
Today was an extremely full day for the ladies. They had two completely full classes making up over 50 women who heard the gospel message this morning. Sis. Yvonne delivered an anointed message titled “The Empty Tomb.” She stressed the importance of experiencing the death, burial and resurrection power of Jesus Christ in our life today. Repentance, water baptism in Jesus Name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost was explained with many scriptures.
The ladies followed along in their bibles that we have been able to provide for them weekly, however, the Chaplain will not allow us to let the inmates keep the bibles, as she feels the print is too small. Please pray that we find large print bibles with soft covers at a reasonable price that we can give to these ladies as they are desperately seeking Godly direction.
Please remember Ella in a special way as she needs to find peace for her heavy heart.
Please also remember our ladies that will be facing a judge this week and need to have God’s will in their lives. Pray for our ladies that are trying to overcome their additions. Every women received a church card today so let’s pray that we see a mighty influx of new converts from our work at the Macomb County Jail.
Yours in Christ,
Sis. Yvonne and Sis. Renee.

Today was a wonderful day with the ladies. Our first service we had 19 ladies. Renee opened with prayer as usual. We sang a song with the ladies. The first service was especially emotional for some reason. The spirit of God was so strong that most of the ladies could not stop crying.
One girl in the front did not stop crying the entire 45 minutes we were with them. How do you put a price on being blessed with that type of situation. To have someone that is so in need of hearing the word that just the spirit of God already in that room when we arrive that the ladies feel it and are moved. I never imagined that the Lord could work in such a beautiful way.
Renee and I could not be more blessed to be an extension of our church body. We count every opportunity that we have to go to the jail as a blessing.

On Sunday, Sis. Renee & Sis. Yvonne spoke to almost 50 women about how important the feast of the passover was and how important it is to have his blood applied to their lives with baptism in Jesus name.
The ladies sang,
“Because he lives, I can face tomorrow,
because He lives, all fear is gone
because I know, who holds the future,
my life is worth a living, just because He lives.”
We will be having a special service this Sunday at 5:30.

This past Sunday was yet again a great day. Sis. Renee and I had two services with the ladies. The first group consisted of 13 ladies, the second only 9. Regardless of the number, their was still a wonderful presence in the place.
Thanks to Bro. TJ. Blaszyk, we had a great message for the ladies. I spoke about how Jonah in the midst of his storm, God rescued him with a whale. I was able to relate this to the ladies implying that the prison is their literal whale.
We sang some songs and were able to share our testimonies.

This past Sunday Sis. Yvonne and myself went to the jail to minister to the ladies. Our first session had 16 ladies, the second had only 9.
Sis. Yvonne spoke to the ladies about the significance of what Judas did not do aftr he betrayed Jesus. He did feel remorseful about his sin, but never ran back to him and asked him for forgiveness. She explained to the ladies that if we go the extra step, Jesus would run to us and forgive us.
It seems like this past Sunday we sang more than usuall.

Today was a great day at the Jail. Sis.Renee and myself took the lead on this one.
We had two sessions like usual, each with about 15 ladies. Todays focus was on the importance of a good name. We were able to show the ladies how if we fear the Lord in all of our decisions, then Trust in Him to honor our willingness to follow him, he will Bless us.
The ladies were incouraged and several were crying during the service.
We were also able to share our personal testimony about how the Lord has brought us such a long way. Sis. Renee told the ladies about how God IS a healer, and how He healed her of Cancer.

This was supposed to be another wonderful day for Sis. Renee and Sis. Yvonne to minister to the ladies at the jail. However, yesterday Sis. Yvonne requested that the services at the jail today be cancelled because of her mothers ailing condition.
With deepest sympathy and a heavy heart we were informed today that Sis. Yvonne’s mother passed away this morning. All of us deal with loss in many different ways but I cannot imagine how one can deal with the loss of a mother without our wonderful saviour to ease the pain.
Truly we area church family and knowing that Sis. Yvonne is hurting so much because of her loss is also hurting Renee and I. Please join us in praying and offering our love and support to Sis. Yvonne during this time of loss.
